Anuppur, 2 October On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the Tribal Affairs Department organized an Untouchability Eradication Goodwill Camp in the premises of Government Utkrisht U.M. School Anuppur. State Coal Development Authority Chairman (Cabinet Minister rank) Shri Ramlal Rautel was the chief guest at the program and District Panchayat Chairman Smt. Preeti Ramesh Singh and District Panchayat Vice-Chairman Smt. Parvati Valmiki Rathore were the special guests at the program.
Joint Collector Shri Dilip Kumar Pandey, Tribal Affairs Department Assistant Commissioner Ms. Sarita Nayak, Area Coordinator Shri S.K. Bajpai, Naib Tehsildar Mr. Mangaldas Chakraborty, Mr. Mithla Prasad Patel, PRO Ms. Kusum Markam, Principal of Utkrishta Vidyalaya Mr. H.L. Bahelia, Principal of Government Girls High School Dr. Kaushalendra Singh, BRC Pushparajgarh Mr. Harprasad Tiwari, District Sports Incharge of Tribal Affairs Department Mohammad Khalil Qureshi, APC of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Mr. Vinod Gupta and citizens of various communities were present. On this occasion, a large number of school students and local public representatives and citizens also participated.
On this occasion, Chairman of State Coal Development Authority (Cabinet Minister rank) Mr. Ramlal Raut said that Sadbhavna Camp and Social Harmony Feast were organized in which the collective presence of people from all sections demonstrates social harmony. He said that social harmony is necessary.
He said that the importance of this camp has increased further on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by the Central and State Government to further strengthen the social system. He appreciated the efforts made to end the social evil of untouchability by opening the path of awareness through education and including the backward and deprived sections of society in the main stream.

On this occasion, District Panchayat Chairperson Smt. Preeti Ramesh Singh and District Panchayat Vice Chairperson Smt. Parvati Balmiki Rathore also appreciated the efforts made to maintain social harmony by praising the Untouchability Eradication Goodwill Camp and Social Harmony Feast programme.

On this occasion, all the people participated collectively in the Social Harmony Feast. Assistant Commissioner of Tribal Affairs Department Sarita Nayak thanked the people present for making the event a success.
