Director General of Police Prashant Kumar told through social media that on July 31, four people have been arrested in the case of waterlogging due to rain near the underpass built in Gomti Nagar police station area near Taj Hotel and some unruly elements doing hooliganism and other objectionable activities with the pedestrians and vehicles coming and going.

A shameful incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in Gomtinagar, a VIP area of ​​​​Sakunau. Miscreants who were creating a ruckus in the water filled under the bridge near Marine Drive, misbehaved with a girl going with her friend on a bike. After molesting her, they threw her in the water. Somehow she regained her composure and both of them left from there.

The rowdy youths kept creating ruckus here for hours. When the video of the incident went viral on social media, the police came into action. An FIR was registered in the case and four people have been arrested on Thursday.
