Saharanpur, Through video conferencing, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated 25 roads of 162.54 km length and costing Rs 9484.19 lakh constructed in Saharanpur district under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana-3. The district level program was organized in the Circuit House Auditorium. Among the routes inaugurated, 15 routes costing Rs 5677.70 lakh and length 98.783 km are in Lok Sabha constituency Saharanpur and 10 routes costing Rs 3806.49 lakh and length 63.757 km are in Lok Sabha constituency Kairana. In assembly constituency Saharanpur Dehat, 04 roads costing Rs 1444.74 lakh and 21.864 km length, in Deoband 06 roads costing 2603.97 lakhs and 46.734 km length, in Behat, 02 roads costing 637.38 lakhs and 11.960 km length, in Rampur Maniharan 991.610 lakhs. 03 routes costing Rs. and 18.225 km length, 08 routes costing Rs. 2863.83 lakhs and 47.202 km length in Nakur, 02 routes costing Rs. 937.66 lakhs and 16.555 km length in Gangoh were inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Senior officials of the Public Works Department were present on this occasion.

In the workshop, subject expert Mr. Ramendra Kumar Pandey said that journalism is done under the fundamental right of the Constitution, freedom of expression. It is important to preserve the values and ideals of journalism like the values of life. He said that journalists should have in-depth knowledge and should also have continuity in study and learning. Sequential writing can also be called journalism. The pen has sensitivity and also hits hard. In journalism one must have good character. The ideals and principles of journalism should be followed. Giving information about the standards of conduct of journalism, subject expert Dr. Sanjay Payasi said that journalism should be done keeping the society paramount. Through power point presentation, he gave a detailed lecture on principles and ethics, guidelines on specific issues, laws related to press, rights of Press Council, best practices and procedures and best practices in journalism.
