Satna, As per the instructions of Mahatma Gandhi State Rural Development Institute Jabalpur, the two-day recall training program of elected women Sarpanches of Gram Panchayat in Janpad Panchayat Nagaud District Satna dated 18 to 19 July 2024 was completed today.

In the said training, women Sarpanches coming under Janpad Panchayat Nagaud understood the concept of rural development in detail. In the training, information was provided about the importance of Gram Panchayat, Gram Sabha in development schemes like MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Awas, Swachh Bharat Mission and pension schemes along with financial and administrative rights of Sarpanches. Everyone understood very closely the role of participation and decision of women Sarpanches in national development through Gram Panchayat.

In the training, Chief Executive Officer of Janpad Panchayat Nagod, Shri Ashok Kumar Mishra guided the training, and as master trainer and program coordinator, Krishna Kumar Singh, PM Housing Incharge played an important role, while Purnima Bagri, Vikasita Saket, Shyama Mishra and other branch incharges provided information about their schemes to the Sarpanches. Newly appointed Assistant Development Extension Officers Anchal, Maneka, Navdeep and Aradhana provided support.
All the elected women Sarpanches/participants thanked Janpad Panchayat Nagod for organizing such an event and said that this training has given them a good understanding about their role in Panchayati Raj and rural development and now they will take their own decisions and participate in the development of their gram panchayat and the state.
