Saharanpur, To increase the proper use of water in the Drop More Crop (Micro Irrigation) Scheme year 2024-25 on the Prime Minister Agricultural Irrigation Scheme, a one-day training program for 50 farmers was organized by the Horticulture Department in the auditorium of the District Horticulture Officer to make farmers aware.

District Horticulture Officer Gampal Singh said that on setting up drip irrigation system, a subsidy of 90% is provided to small marginal farmers and 80% to other farmers. Progressive farmer Sukhpal Singh village Nasratpur gave detailed information to the farmers about drip irrigation. To make farmers aware of drip irrigation system, Joint Director, Horticultural Experiment and Training Centre, Mrs. Pooja, Officer In Charge, Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Dr. I.K. Kushwah, Dr. Poonam Yadav and Dr. Sonam Singh and authorized engineer of M/s SriSalasar Industries, Rahul Singh, authorized engineer of M/s Tirupati Structure Ltd., Nauman and authorized engineer of M/s Annabhoomi Greentech Pvt. Ltd., Yogesh Kumar, provided detailed information to the farmers.
