Deoband (Saharanpur). The traditional Holi Milan ceremony organized by social organization Vikas and Security Committee, a symbol of national unity and communal harmony of Deoband city, was organized with great joy in a restaurant located on Railway Road. People of almost all communities participated in the ceremony and experienced joy from the views of the speakers and poets. Expressing his views, the chief guest of the program, former Home Minister M. Saiduzzama said that every person of India has to maintain brotherhood and mutual love in every situation. He said that Holi is such a festival in which there is no discrimination of high and low and small and big among the people. People of all castes and classes enjoy this festival together. Social worker Satish Girdhar, while advising those who try to spoil the communal harmony in their area and the country, said that there are a few such people from whom one needs to be cautious and the development of the country and the state is possible only through mutual unity and harmony. District Cooperative Bank Chairman Choudhary Rajpal Singh, popular doctor Dr. D.K. Jain, international poet Dr. Nawaz Devbandi, business leader Deepakraj Singhal, Salim Qureshi, Iram Usmani, committee patron Kuldeep Kumar Chhabda, Ashok Gupta, Janardan Das Tyagi, Brijesh Kansal etc. also expressed their views. Along with this, famous poet Jahaz Devbandi and Naeem Akhtar made the function pleasant with their ghazals. Both the poets were honored by giving mementoes on behalf of the committee. Committee President CA Sandeep Gupta, who was presiding over the function, expressed gratitude to all the invited guests. The program was jointly conducted by treasurer Zarrar Beg and program coordinator Ansar Masoodi. On this occasion, Dr. R.P. Khorana, Dr. Mujammil Hasan, Najam Usmani, Arun Tyagi, Rehan Ahmed, Vinay Tyagi, Pankaj Gupta, Ankit Jain, Adesh Tyagi, Rajkumar Jatav, Omvir Singh, Vivek Tayal and many other eminent people of the city were present.
