Shahdol, Collectors Conference was organized in Amarkantak Auditorium of Commissioner Office on Saturday in the presence of Commissioner Shahdol Division Mrs. Surabhi Gupta. Commissioner directed the collectors of Shahdol Division that for better results of class 10th and 12th board exams in all three districts of Shahdol Division Shahdol, Umaria and Anuppur, collectors and departmental officers should inspect schools and check the quality of education being given in schools and take strict action against those found negligent. He said that to improve exam results, extra classes should be held and question papers should also be solved by students. He said that for board exam results, block level officers should go to the field and collectors should assign duties to officers and also do continuous monitoring.

There should be no negligence in the distribution of cycles...
The commissioner took information from the education department officials about the cycles being distributed in the schools of Shahdol division and said that he will ensure that there are no complaints in the distribution of cycles. The commissioner reviewed the progress of the work of the schemes run by the Agriculture Department. During the review, the commissioner instructed the departmental officials to ensure that the eligible farmers get the benefit of the schemes run by the Agriculture Department. He said that there should be availability of seeds in Shahdol division and strict action should be taken against those selling substandard fertilizers and seeds.
The commissioner, while reviewing the Women and Child Development Department, instructed the officials to ensure 100 percent attendance of children in Anganwadi centers and ensure that all the services provided to the children in the Anganwadi center are also available. The commissioner expressed strong displeasure over the lack of progress in the Matritva Vandana Yojana and directed the Joint Director of Women and Child Development to bring progress.
Gita Jayanti will be celebrated...
The commissioner instructed the collectors to complete all the preparations for Gita Jayanti to be celebrated on 9 December. He said that keeping in view the cold weather, adequate blankets, beds, bonfires and other arrangements should be ensured in district hospitals and night shelters so that no untoward incident occurs due to cold. During the Collector Conference, the Commissioner also reviewed the works of other departments like fish farming, Hum Honge Kamyaab Abhiyan, animal husbandry, operation of cow shelters, cooperative recovery, horticulture department and gave necessary instructions.

Collector Shahdol Dr. Kedar Singh, Collector Anuppur Mr. Harshal Pancholi, Collector Umaria Dharendra Jain, Deputy Commissioner Revenue Mrs. Manisha Pandey, Chief Executive Officers of District Panchayats of Shahdol Division and departmental officers were present in the conference.
