Shahdol, Shahdol's law and order has gone out of control, due to which, on the lines of Haka gang, people are forced to go back to their homes at 10 pm, because criminals have gone out of control. The fear of police has almost ended in Shahdol. Common citizens who do not come out of their homes and offices due to the scorching heat throughout the day and the district administration is also appealing to them to avoid the sun. Now, when the temperature reduces in the evening, people come out of their homes, shoppers, businessmen also decorate their shops and wait for customers, but the fear of miscreants and criminals is so much that the helpless police is being strict with the citizens, while the thieves, dacoits, mafia are not refraining from committing any crime because the police is protecting the criminals. If the SIT investigates the CDR of a few police personnel of the district, then the syndicate of thieves and dacoits can be exposed.

Case number 01
Complaint, theft happened again ....

The case is of the deserted house of jeweler Vivek Soni, son of Shiv Naresh Soni, in ward number 2 Mahatma Gandhi Nagar of Byohari police station area of the district, on May 13, between 9 am and 8 pm, unknown thieves raided the house and stole goods worth Rs 18.5 lakh including cash of Rs 5.5 lakh and jewellery. After the incident, the next victim lodged a complaint of theft of lakhs in the police station.

Stolen goods written as 18 lakh, 26 thousand....

But it will be surprising to know that on the complaint of theft of Rs 18.5 lakh, a report of only 26 thousand was lodged in the police station and the complainant was sent home. Whereas the complainant had handed over the list of all the jewellery stolen apart from cash of Rs 5.5 lakh to the police. It was also told that the bag in which these jewellery were kept also had their bill, which the thieves have taken. But he can give another copy of the bill of these stolen jewellery. Despite this, the police tried to save its reputation by converting the stolen amount of lakhs into thousands. Disappointed with this, the victim Vivek Soni, son of Shiv Naresh Soni, resident of Gandhi Nagar Byohari, along with his daughter, went to the Superintendent of Police on Monday to present his complaint. There, he told the entire sequence of events and demanded that a correct report of the theft of lakhs from his house be registered.

Case number 2
Just wrote the report, then the theft happened again...

When the complainant was returning home after presenting his complaint, in the meantime, before reaching home, at around 7:30 in the evening, his second son called and told that his Pulsar motorcycle number MP 17 MR 1317 parked outside the house has also been stolen by some thief. The victim got another shock after hearing this incident. Now guess, after stealing lakhs from the house, the motorcycle was also stolen from in front of the same house.

Case Number 3
The thief also broke into the neighborhood...

After this, the thieves targeted the neighborhood and showing their bravery, broke the lock of the house of Advocate Rajendra Vaishya, who lives next to the house of the victim Mr. Soni, and committed the third incident of theft. The thieves stole goods worth thousands including a mobile from there. At the time of the incident, the family members of Mr. Vaishya had gone to their village. In this way, the thieves fearlessly committed theft incidents three times within seven days in the same locality and the police did not even get a clue. If the police had become active after the first incident, then perhaps the second and third theft incidents would not have happened.

Case Number 4
When there is terror in the headquarters itself...

According to the latest news, a video of atrocities on a woman from Rewa is going viral on social media. In which it can be clearly seen that some bullies together threw a woman on the ground and beat her badly. People standing there are watching the spectacle. Similarly, in Shahdol also, a person named Abhishek Mishra had lodged a complaint regarding grabbing money by developing an illegal colony and making a marriage garden on leased land since June 2023. There is also news that the women complainants Geeta Singh, Radha Singh etc. are being harassed by the domineering land mafia every day. There is also news that the urban administration, revenue staff are harassing the women complainants Geeta Singh, Radha Singh etc. for developing an illegal colony, selling land, and making an illegal marriage garden. The police administration is not giving any preference to the woman complainant in the case, but is protecting the land mafia on the contrary, due to which questions are being raised on the working style and impartiality of the police operating under the guidance of Police Captain Kumar Pratik in Shahdol. After all, the police is developing illegal colonies on the lines of land mafia, takes money from people by making registered agreements, and when the money is stuck and the land is not returned, the victim woman complainant reaches the police station Kotwali to seek help, where the Kotwali police suppresses the complaint against the accused for deceit, forgery, fraud in business, etc. and gets a compromise done instead of FIR, that too by applying the seal of Sheel Coin.

Today, on one hand, the accused refused to return the complainant's lifelong earnings, money borrowed from acquaintances and relatives, because the police got the settlement done in writing on 21 June 2023, on the other hand, the accused is talking about recovering money by blackmailing the settlement done by the police even in the court. The only reason behind this is that there is an attempt to throw dust in the eyes of the police captain in the Kotwali. This was done by the posted police personnel, who have been posted in Shahdol and its surrounding areas for decades, under whose guidance a drama was enacted while sitting in the police station to prevent an FIR from being lodged against the accused.

Kalyanpur robbery: No clue found...

Masked miscreants robbed a house. After assaulting the people of the house and making them hostage, they fled after looting gold and silver jewellery worth lakhs of rupees. This act of the miscreants was captured in the CCTV camera installed outside the house. The victim's family lodged a complaint in the Kotwali police station the same night. Their footage has also come out in the CCTV camera installed outside the house, in which eight miscreants are seen coming with a towel tied on their face and barefoot wearing shorts. Complainant Ritesh and his mother told that at night they broke the gate and entered the house and first sprayed on the face of Ritesh who was sleeping near the window inside the house and made him unconscious. After that, just look at the audacity of the thieves, they beat up Ritesh's mother Poonam who was present in the house. She was injured in many parts of her body and was tied there. After this, they fled with gold and silver jewellery and cash kept in the cupboard of the house, the thieves have committed robbery by taking hostages of about five lakh rupees. The police is unable to find any clue of this.

Theft also happened in Pandavnagar

Theft that happened in the house of MD of a food corporation and teacher of convent school Renu Shrivastav last month has also not been solved. Any amount of praise for the courage of the thieves in a building equipped with CCTV cameras all around will be less. The most secure colony is being burgled and the responsible people are sleeping. When this is the condition of the colony where the district officer, judge, police Tehsildar, doctor, SDM and other senior officials live, then the security of the citizens of two faraway places can be guessed.

A deadly attack on a journalist...

This year started with the criminals attacking the fourth pillar in which a senior journalist of the district was fatally attacked by 15-16 armed people. When the CCTV footage came out, the attacker was revealed. But the Kotwali police once again did the justice of the name and could not even muster the courage to list the named accused. Then we will have to accept that Shahdol police has changed the meaning of patriotism and public service. Sudhi Jaano has demanded the responsible officer of Shahdol to improve the deteriorating law and order situation of the city, otherwise the social organizations of the district will be forced to take to the streets. After all, how long will we have to bear the fear of miscreants, thieves and mafias.

The administrative system in Shahdol has completely failed, there is a state of panic and chaos. The police captain has never been so careless about the safety of the citizens, this is the reason why two government servants have lost their lives in the district. Now these mafias are targeting journalists, tomorrow the officers of the district will also come under its purview.

Chhatrapal Singh, District President, Youth Front Gondwana Republic Party Shahdol

It is surprising in this case, the incident happened on January 2, now five months have passed, but what is the Shahdol police doing and what does it want to do, the responsible officer of the state will have to understand, at the lower level the mafia wants to play Holi of blood with the journalists. And here the police is giving leniency instead of taking action. Rajendra Singh Jalod, State President, Investigative Journalist Union Madhya Pradesh

Administrative response

In this case, a call was made to SP sahab on his CUG number but his call was not received, perhaps he does not have an answer to our questions, otherwise what is the meaning of avoiding the media.

Kumar Pratik, Superintendent of Police, Shahdol

An attempt was made to get a response from ADGP Dinesh Chandra Sagar in this case but he also did not receive the call.
