According to the Hindu calendar, Jivitputrika Vrat is observed on the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Ashwin month. This fast is mainly observed in Bihar, Jharkhand and some parts of Uttar Pradesh. This fast is also known as Jitiya Vrat. Jivitputrika Vrat is observed by mothers with the wish of safety and long life of their child or children. This fast is observed without water throughout the day and night, hence it is considered one of the difficult fasts. Know Jitiya Vrat Puja Muhurta and Vrat Paran time-

When is Jitiya Vrat- Ashtami Tithi will start on 24 September 2024 at 12:38 pm and will end on 25 September 2024 at 12:10 pm. Jitiya Vrat is on 25 September.

Lord Jimutvahan is worshipped- Lord Jimutvahan is worshipped with devotion in Jitiya fast. After worship, there is a law to read or listen to the fast story.

Chaughadia Muhurta of Jitiya fast worship- According to the Drik Panchang, the auspicious time of Chaughadiya worship on the day of Jivitputrika fast will be from 07:41 am to 09:11 am. After this, it will be from 10:41 am to 12:12 pm. The time of worship in the evening will be from 04:43 pm to 06:13 pm. There will also be an auspicious time of worship from 03:12 pm to 04:43 pm in the afternoon.

Time of fast breaking- Jitiya fast will be broken on 26 September 2024, Thursday. On the day of fast breaking, there is a combination of Sarvarth Siddhi and Guru Pushya and Amrit Siddhi Yoga. In astrology, these yogas are considered extremely auspicious. The Parana Muhurta of Jitiya Vrat will be from 04:35 am to 06:11 am.
