There should be better cleanliness and hygiene in the cities before Deepotsav - Collector
The collector gave instructions to pay special attention to the beautification of the cities

Anuppur, Collector Mr. Harshal Pancholi has said that all the municipal officers should ensure that there is better cleanliness and hygiene in all the urban bodies of the district before Deepotsav. He said that all the municipal officers of the district should pay special attention to the beautification of the cities. Cleaning and painting of the main roads, dividers, tourist places, parks and temples of the cities should also be done. Collector Mr. Harshal Pancholi was giving instructions by holding a meeting of the Chief Municipal Officers of the urban bodies in the Narmada Auditorium located in the Collectorate today.
In the meeting, the Collector received information about garbage vehicles, garbage management and cleanliness system from the Chief Municipal Officer Anuppur and directed the Joint Collector to take stock of the cleanliness system and the status of garbage management of garbage vehicles in the morning and inform about the cleanliness system in the city. In the meeting, the collector said that since Anuppur is the district headquarters, the cleanliness system here should be tight and proper. Here cleanliness should be done on priority basis.
In the meeting, the collector also received information about the traffic jam situation in Municipal Council Amarkantak from the Chief Municipal Officer and directed that the parking system should be improved by running a campaign so that the devotees and tourists coming to Amarkantak do not have to face the traffic jam situation. In the meeting, the collector instructed the Chief Municipal Officer to make arrangements for attractive lighting in Narmada Temple, Sonamuda and Mai Ki Bagiya in Amarkantak.
In the meeting, the collector also instructed to stop the movement of cows in the tourist places of Amarkantak and to prepare and present an action plan for the beautification of Amarkantak for the devotees and tourists. So that the grandeur and divinity of Amarkantak can reach the people. In the meeting, the collector instructed all the Chief Municipal Officers that all the Chief Municipal Officers should work in accordance with the Swachhta Survey parameters in the district and ensure cleanliness and sanitation system in the cities as per the prescribed parameters. In the meeting, the collector also discussed various other important points and gave necessary guidelines to the officers.
Joint Collector Shri Dilip Kumar Pandey along with Chief Municipal Officers of all the urban bodies of the district were present in the meeting.
