Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi has been elected as the Chief Minister of Delhi. Today, in the party's legislative party meeting, a decision was taken to make Atishi the CM. After being elected as the Chief Minister, Atishi said in a press conference, "Arvind Kejriwal trusted me. Made me MLA, minister and then today CM. I am happy that he showed so much trust in me. I am happy and sad too."

Atishi said that I am sad because my elder brother Arvind Kejriwal is resigning today. A man who left his IRS job and came into politics for service.

Atishi said that there is only one Chief Minister of Delhi, whose name is Kejriwal, you people should not congratulate me. For the last two years, BJP has made every possible effort to trouble Arvind Kejriwal. She further said that false cases were registered against Kejriwal, he was kept in jail for 6 months. The Supreme Court granted bail, slapped the agencies and said that the central agencies are like parrots locked in a cage. If there was any other leader in Kejriwal's place, he would not have missed the opportunity to sit on the chair.

'There is no such example in Indian democracy'

Aatishi said that Arvind Kejriwal did what no leader had done before. He will go to the people's court, will wait until the people of Delhi elect him as the Chief Minister of Delhi again. There is no other example like this in Indian democracy.

Aatishi is the third woman CM

First BJP had Sushma Swaraj, then Congress had Sheila Dixit, who was the Chief Minister of Delhi for three consecutive terms, now Aam Aadmi Party has made a new move and presented a woman as the future Chief Minister of Delhi. This is the second masterstroke of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after resigning. Through this, he has managed to appease half of Delhi's population of 50 lakhs, i.e. women. It is worth mentioning that in the budget of March this year, Finance Minister Atishi had announced to give 1000 rupees to the women of Delhi as Samman Yojana, which is now expected to flourish. That too just before the assembly elections. That is, after BJP and Congress, now Aam Aadmi Party has become the third party which has put forward a female face as the future Chief Minister.

The biggest female face of the party

No leader of Bharatiya Janata Party has been seen against Arvind Kejriwal till now. A female young face is trustworthy but BJP has no face against Kejriwal and now when a female face has come forward as the new Chief Minister. According to sources associated with the state office BJP, very soon the party will make strategic changes for the Delhi Assembly elections and after the new CM face. But the work of raising the issue of corruption of Aam Aadmi Party loudly will be done from every platform.
