Saharanpur, National President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma and West Pradesh Mukti Morcha, Bhagat Singh Verma, while addressing a meeting organized in the nearby village Megh Chhappar today, said that the Union Budget of the Modi government is a budget promoting farmers, poor, youth and corruption. There is nothing in the budget for the development of the country's food-providing farmers, laborers, youth, small businessmen and western Uttar Pradesh. Out of the country's 2024-25 Union Budget of Rs 48 lakh 21 thousand crore, not even half the budget will be spent on the people of the country. Such a budget has been made that out of this, 24 lakh crore rupees will be looted by big leaders, big officers, big corporate houses sitting in Delhi Lutyens Zone. Bhagat Singh Verma said that 60% of the farmers of the country pay the highest tax to the country, despite this, only three percent provision has been made in the budget for the food-providing farmers of the country. In which, if found, the farmers of the country will now be given ₹23 per day as Kisan Samman Nidhi, instead of ₹17 per day. This is a cruel joke for the farmers of the country. Bhagat Singh Verma said that to make the country a developed India, all the debts of the farmers of the country should have been eliminated and the report of the great agricultural scientist, the father of the Green Revolution, Bharat Ratna Dr. MS Swaminathan Commission should have been implemented to provide the farmers with profitable prices of Situ plus 50% crops and the proposal to make MSP profitable and a guarantee law should have been passed in the Parliament. To strengthen the country and the farmers, 50% of the budget should have been allocated to paddy farmers. Bhagat Singh Verma said that no concrete steps have been taken in the budget for the unemployed youth of the country and to provide them employment. Western Uttar Pradesh and the entire Uttar Pradesh have also been grossly neglected in the Union Budget. Bhagat Singh Verma said that since February 13, lakhs of farmers of the country and Punjab have been camping with their tractor-trolleys at Shambhu Khanori Dabwali border of Punjab with their problems. To solve their problems, Prime Minister Modi has neither made any provision in the budget nor has he felt the need to talk to them and find a solution to the problems. This budget is directly going to increase commission-grabbing, looting and corruption. Bhagat Singh Verma said that the intellectuals, economists and opposition of the country should study the budget completely and work to stop looting. The meeting was chaired by Metropolitan President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Verma Mohammad Zaheer Turki and conducted by State General Secretary Asim Malik. State Secretary Rishipal Gurjar, District Vice President Mohammad Wasim Zaheerpur, State General Secretary Sandeep Advocate, District Organization Minister Surendra Singh Advocate, Haji Tahir Hasan, Haji Sajid Ali, Haji Suleman, Mehboob Hasan, Haji Budhu Hasan, Mohammad Yasin, Mohammad Irfan, Shahnawaz Advocate, Molak Ram Advocate, Mohammad Furqan etc. participated in the meeting.
