In Raudh village of Satna, Raigaon assembly, the department could not fix the fault in the transformer for the last twenty days and neither the number of farmers and poles is increasing, due to which the whole village is immersed in darkness. Villagers told that due to burning of the electric transformer in the village, this problem persists every day, due to which the villagers are troubled. There is only one transformer installed in the whole village which runs only from morning till day and goes down in the evening and in the evening the whole village is immersed in darkness, people live by lighting torch and chimney. Villagers say that only leaders and ministers come here during elections and go away after giving speeches on the stage. No problem of the villagers has been resolved till date. There is neither road nor electricity in the village. The villagers appealed to the administration to provide electricity to the village as soon as possible. Small children are unable to study due to lack of electricity and women cook food in the light of the chimney.
