Saharanpur, Last night, thieves broke the lock of the locked house of textile businessman Neeraj Gupta in Rampur Maniharan town of Saharanpur district and stole gold and silver jewelery worth Rs 10 lakh along with cash worth about Rs 1 lakh. The businessman was admitted to a private doctor in Saharanpur due to illness. On information, forensic and police reached the spot and investigated. According to the information received, Neeraj Gupta, resident of Mohalla Kayasthan of Rampur Maniharan town, is a textile businessman of the town. He immediately informed this to his son. After this a huge crowd of residents of the surrounding locality gathered. On information, police station in-charge Narendra Kumar Sharma and the forensic team reached the spot and conducted investigation. The police also examined the CCTV footage installed around the house regarding the incident. After the theft incident, a huge crowd of businessmen of the town gathered. Businessman Neeraj Gupta told that the thieves have stolen cash worth one lakh and gold and silver jewelery along with goods worth about Rs 10 lakh. Police station in-charge Narendra Kumar Sharma said that a report of the incident has been registered. Is being investigated.
