After the release of 'The Kerala Story' in UK, the team of the film addressed the media to celebrate the success of the film. According to its makers, the film may cross the Rs 190 crore mark in India today. 'The Kerala Story' has also faced opposition from some political parties and groups, who have claimed that the film is not based on facts and spreads hatred against the Muslim community.

The West Bengal government has announced a ban on 'The Kerala Story' in the state and exhibitors in Tamil Nadu have withdrawn it from cinema halls, but the film is still a commercial success. At the press conference, filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah claimed that uncovering the truth was paramount. People are trying to claim that this film is fake, the makers are lying and the film is dirty, which is not the case. Shah said the film is bigger than just the story of three girls. Shah also announced a donation of Rs 51 lakh to the Arsh Vidya Samaj Ashram on the occasion, which takes care of conversion survivors. The makers also invited 26 girls from the ashram to interact with the media along with the cast of the film. Significantly, 'The Kerala Story' is the story of a group of women from the state who convert to Islam and join the jihadist group ISIS.

The story of 'The Kerala Story' is based on the conversion of religion in Kerala to join the terrorist organization. The film claims that 32,000 girls from Kerala went missing and later joined the terrorist group, ISIS. While one side is promoting this film by telling the true story, the other side seems to be calling it fabricated. 'The Kerala Story' is directed by Sudipto Sen. The same film has been produced by Vipul Amritlal Shah. Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Siddhi Idnani and Sonia Balani play important roles in 'The Kerala Story'. Sudipto Sen's 'The Kerala Story', made at a cost of 40 crores, is based on the story of 4 girls, in which 3 are being brainwashed and taken to another religion and are being exploited.
