Saharanpur. The police team has arrested the accused son while revealing the murder incident that took place three months ago in village Paharpur of Thana Nagal area. The police has also recovered a knife used in the murder on the information given by the accused. According to the information received, in the murder of Sanjay Saini alias Neetu, his son Shivam was found to be the murderer. Shivam had killed his father Sanjay Saini by slitting his throat with a knife while he was sleeping on the tubewell. The police has arrested the accused son. During police interrogation, the accused told that the father did not give money for expenses, due to which there was quarrel in the house. SP Rural Sagar Jain told in the police line that on June 24, Shivam, a resident of Paharpur, had given a complaint about the murder of his father Sanjay Saini alias Neetu. The police had registered a case and started investigating the matter. When the police investigated, it was found that there was a dispute between the father and the son. There was a fight every day. The police started the investigation. When the police caught the deceased's son Shivam and questioned him, he confessed to killing his father. During the interrogation, the accused Shivam told that his father Sanjay Saini alias Neetu was addicted to drinking alcohol. He used to spend money on wrong things. He had fallen into bad company. Due to this, he had also sold the four bighas of land around the house. He did not let the money be known. Shivam told that he had got married a few days ago. When he used to ask his father for money for expenses, he did not give it. His father had also taken a loan from some people of the village. He thought that his father would sell all the land. He planned to kill his father. On the night of June 23, when his father went to sleep on the farm, he got up from the room at around 12.30 in the night and took a vegetable cutting knife from the kitchen and jumped from the roof and left the house and went to the tubewell with the knife. His father was talking to someone at night. Till then he kept hiding in the field. When the father fell asleep on the cot at the tubewell, he stabbed his father on the neck with a knife and ran away from there and threw the knife there itself. The father came home on the bike in an injured state. The family was taking him to the hospital for treatment, but he died on the way.
