Shajapur, Ala-Umrod village: The seven-day special camp organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of the Prime Minister's College of Excellence, B.K.S.N. Government College, Shajapur, concluded on Tuesday at the Government Secondary School, Ala-Umrod. The closing ceremony began with the guests garlanding the portraits of Goddess Saraswati and Swami Vivekananda under the guidance of Dr. Shekhar Maidamwar, Program Coordinator of the Rashtriya Seva Yojana (RSY) Cell, Vikram University, Ujjain. Unit Ambassador Ravi Kumar delivered the welcome address, and Camp Leader Kaushalya Pushpad presented a brief report of the camp. The program was presided over by the college's acting Principal, Dr. S.K. Tiwari. The chief guest was Mr. Vipul Kasera, Chairman of the College's Public Participation Committee, who praised the work of the campers. ABVP City President Mr. Ashok Salokia was present as the special guest. In his address, he stated that this camp will help propel youth towards a developed India. School Incharge Mrs. Jyoti Pandey, Public Participation Committee Member Mr. Rajendra Gawli, and ABVP City Minister Mr. Pawan Gurjar were also present on stage. Following this, campers added a vibrant touch to the closing ceremony with colorful cultural performances. Volunteers shared their experiences over the seven days of camping and presented the Camp Mirror to the guests. A campfire was held on the eve of the camp, where all campers shared the message of unity through cultural songs. At the awards ceremony, Camp Leader Shivam Parihar, Camp Leader Kaushalya Pushpad, and Camp Media Incharge Suraj Kumar Choudhary were honored with special awards. All campers were presented with participation certificates and mementos. Lakshmi Pushpad successfully conducted the program, and the vote of thanks was given by National Service Scheme Program Officer and Camp Coordinator Prof. Prakash Barfa. A large number of villagers, college staff members, and senior NSS volunteers were present.
