Shahdol, Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, continuous efforts are being made to achieve the vision of a developed India 2047, enhancing public amenities, developing transportation, providing employment opportunities, and promoting education, health, agriculture, and industrialization.

Madhya Pradesh is rapidly transforming, and coordination of development with cleanliness is essential. These views were expressed by the Deputy Chief Minister of the State Government and Minister in charge of Shahdol District, Shri Rajendra Shukla, on the occasion of the inauguration of the redeveloped Byawari Railway Station under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, costing ₹22 crore. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi virtually inaugurated 75 railway stations in the country and 13 railway stations in Madhya Pradesh under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. On this occasion, the virtual inauguration program was watched and heard live at the Byawari Railway Station. Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla stated that our goal is to establish the Vindhya region as the most developed region in the country. He noted that the Vindhya region is home to religious towns like Amarkantak, Chitrakoot, and Maihar, as well as wildlife tourism destinations like Bandhavgarh National Park, Sanjay Tiger National Park, and Mukundpur White Tiger Safari. He stated that the development of rail, air, and road networks accelerates development in the fields of industry, tourism, education, and health. India, following the principle of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam," considers the entire world as its family. For this reason, India alone has the potential to become a global leader. Shri Shukla stated that the resumption of air travel in Rewa has accelerated development. On July 28th, flights will begin from Rewa to Calcutta three days a week and from Rewa to Bhopal four days a week. The railway line from Katni to Singrauli has been doubled. Now, with the development of the Singrauli to Joba railway line, this route will be connected to metropolitan cities like Kolkata and Mumbai. He directed the DRM, Western Railway, to expedite the work.

Dr. Rajesh Mishra, Member of Parliament from Sidhi constituency, said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mantra of speed and skill. The double-engine government is continuously accelerating development projects. The government has no shortage of funds for the development of necessary resources. He urged citizens to pay special attention to the cleanliness of the railway station. MLA Sharad Jugallal Kol thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav for the gift of the Byawari Railway Station, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, in a small area like Byawari, under the Amrit Bharat Yojana. The DRM, Western Railway Division, provided information on the work done at the redeveloped railway station. He stated that the Byawari Railway Station has been extensively modernized under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Keeping in mind the convenience and safety of passengers at the station, development works have been carried out including a modern station building, an expanded circulating area, a new entrance, a foot overbridge, platform shelters, disabled-friendly facilities, well-organized parking, a modern passenger information system, energy-efficient LED lighting, and displays showcasing local art and culture. With the development of these facilities, passengers will have a better, safer, and more convenient travel experience.

During the program, Collector Dr. Kedar Singh, Superintendent of Police Mr. Sanjay Kumar Agarwal, District Planning Committee member Mrs. Amita Chapra, SDM Byawari Ms. Kajol Singh, Municipal Council President Mr. Rajan Gupta, District Panchayat President Mrs. Akanksha Singh, along with public representatives, dignitaries, Railway Department officials, and journalists from print and electronic media were present.
