Vikas had said in the complaint that on August 13, someone had threatened to kill MP Rajesh Verma over the phone. After the case was registered in the cyber police station, the police started investigating the matter.

The police of Khagaria's cyber police station and DIU took joint action and arrested the threatening person Bittu Kumar from Noida and also seized the mobile from which the threat was given. The accused Bittu has been identified as a resident of Muzauna village of Alauli police station area of ​​Khagaria. When the police questioned Bittu, he told that he was in Noida and he had made the call in a drunken state. At present, the police is engaged in further action.
