Call was made through VoIP application
According to the police, a 40-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday for making threatening calls to Telangana BJP MLA T. Raja Singh. Hyderabad Cyber ​​Crime Police traced the accused Mohammad Wasim to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia using call data analysis and arrested him when he returned to India. The police further said that the accused was continuously calling the MLA from different numbers using 'Voice over Internet Protocol' (VoIP) application and was "abusing and threatening" him.

Let us tell you that Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh had earlier complained to the police that he received a call from a number before the assembly elections last year and the caller threatened to harm him and his family and even threatened to kill him and his family before the voting day. In the complaint, the BJP MLA had said that the caller had also threatened to kill Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath during the election campaign in Goshamahal.
