Panna, Madhya Pradesh State Government had sanctioned crores of rupees under Jal Avardhan Yojana for the welfare of the common people in Amanganj town of Panna district and encouraged and motivated them by giving them the gift of sweet water, but this gift of sweet water has now become a big problem for them. Remember that this sweet water was brought to Amanganj by laying a pipeline from village Singhora, which is about 12 kilometers away from Amanganj, which remained in good condition for some days, but today its condition has deteriorated in such a way that the common people cannot remain safe by drinking this water, they can get entangled in physical and mental diseases. The local administration is fully aware of this fact and the public representatives of the local administration are aware of the entire system, despite this, they are not seen ready to take even a single step to improve it. The water is coming completely yellow in which the local people complained about the presence of bacteria and viruses not once but many times to the municipal body Amanganj and also told the concerned contractor. This water was to be filtered and go to every house, but now it is coming directly from the river in the same condition. The local people say that this water comes from a pit in the river which is not completely clean and neither is this water cleaned. When this scheme was approved, the public was excited that they would get sweet and clean water and the residents of the city paid Rs. 5,000 each to the municipal body as per its connection amount and are also paying Rs. 200 monthly, but today the public is feeling completely cheated. As soon as the rains start, where seasonal diseases will spread in the city and the region, various kinds of diseases can spread in the city through this water, who will be responsible for it? The local administration? Or the district administration or the state government?
