Indore. Nearly 12 years after the 2015 murder of 17-year-old Krishna in the Khajrana police station area, police have solved the case. Police have arrested two suspects involved in the murder and robbery, Aqeel alias Nitra and Arif. The third accused, Parvez, is no longer alive. According to police, Krishna was killed for resisting robbery.

Krishna's body was found near the bypass

DCP Aman Singh Rathore stated that on April 17, 2015, the body of 17-year-old Krishna was found near the Khajrana bypass. His body bore severe injuries. A case was registered at the Khajrana police station under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (Murder).

The accused were not identified at the time of the incident. Police continued to investigate the case and the search for the accused continued. The case remained challenging for the police due to the lack of any concrete clues for a long time.

A crucial clue was found through an informant's information.

Nearly 12 years later, police received information from an informant that Aqeel, Arif, and Parvez were involved in Krishna's murder. Based on this information, the police gathered information about the suspects and monitored their activities.

Investigation revealed that Aqeel, alias Nitra, had 14 criminal cases registered against him, including murder and robbery, and had been imprisoned several times. Arif also had three serious criminal cases registered against him. According to police, the third accused, Parvez, has died.

Four stab wounds after resisting robbery

Police investigation revealed that the three accused targeted Krishna and robbed him of a gold locket, a silver chain and pendant, and cash. When Krishna resisted, Aqeel attacked him with a knife.

The accused stabbed Krishna four times in the neck. The serious injuries caused excessive bleeding and he died on the spot.

Burned items to destroy evidence

After the murder, the accused attempted to destroy evidence related to the crime. According to the police, they attempted to destroy evidence related to the crime by burning the motorcycle and other items and then fled the scene.

For a long time, the police were unable to find any concrete clues leading to the arrest of the accused. Now, based on information from an informant and technical evidence, the police have arrested both accused.

Efforts continue to recover the stolen items

Police are now interrogating the arrested accused. Efforts are being made to recover the items stolen from Krishna and other materials, including the weapon used in the murder. The police are also investigating other aspects of the case.
