Problems of electricity consumers should be resolved soon, make Saharanpur number one in solar energy

Saharanpur. The meeting of the State Electricity Inquiry Committee of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council was convened in the Circuit House Auditorium under the chairmanship of Chairman Dinesh Kumar Goyal and in the presence of committee members Mr. Vijay Bahadur Pathak, Mr. Jitendra Singh Sengar, MLA Nakud Mr. Mukesh Chaudhary, District Magistrate Mr. Manish Bansal. In the meeting, various points were discussed in detail by the State Electricity Inquiry Committee of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council.
The committee found out how many transformers were installed in the district in the last 03 years, how many hours of power cut took place, how much line loss occurred, how many domestic electricity consumers' electricity bills were revised, how many complaints of electricity faults came, out of which how many were resolved and how many are remaining. Information was obtained from the concerned officials on these points and necessary guidelines were also given to the officials of the concerned department. The committee directed all the officials of the concerned department to keep registers related to public complaints in all the offices of the electricity department so that responsibility towards the complaints can be fixed. The complaints of the common man can be resolved easily. The electricity related schemes of the government should be publicized. Electricity officials should keep the phone numbers of all the public representatives. Action should be taken as per rules against those who take wrong meter readings. The process of increasing the electricity load should be mentioned through a flex in all the sub-division offices and it should also be publicized to the maximum. The date must be mentioned in the data available in the booklet. The Chairman directed that the Chief Engineer should hold a meeting of the concerned electricity officials after a fixed interval and also review the schemes. Encourage the general public to increase the consumption of alternative energy source solar energy and try to get Saharanpur the first place in solar energy. He said that the officials participating in the meeting should come with documents. Show gentle behavior towards the general public. Follow punctuality. Immediate cognizance should be taken on the incidents of transformer theft. Line loss should be minimized. XEN Deoband was instructed to provide a report of the action taken in the last 03 months. The committee instructed that the experiences of public representatives should be taken advantage of while making the plan and after informing the District Magistrate also, it should be sent to the government. He asked to maintain the importance of mutual dialogue. After the meeting, the Chairman instructed to monitor the problems and complaints of the general public related to the electricity department and resolve them in a timely and quality manner. District Magistrate Manish Bansal assured the Chairman and the committee that the instructions given by you will be followed to the letter. The works will be completed with the guidance given by you. On this occasion, former MLA Sanjay Garg, District President BJP Mahendra Saini, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dr. Archana Dwivedi, SP Rural Sagar Jain, Chief Engineer Rajesh Kumar, Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer Electricity along with the officers of the concerned department were present.
