Begusarai, Mohammad Saifi, who punched Union Minister and Begusarai MP Giriraj Singh, was released from jail late evening today. A large number of people gathered outside the jail to welcome Saifi. Hundreds of workers gave him a rousing welcome. As soon as he came out of the jail, people welcomed Mohammad Saifi with a sari.

Let us tell you that on Tuesday, September 3, he got bail from the court of ACJM 4 and today he came out of jail. As soon as he came out of the jail, Mohammad Saifi while talking to the media said that in 40 years, no MP or MLA here could build a road. Children are dying by drowning in the culvert. We never asked for a bridge from the MLA and MP but were demanding railing of the bridge. Because children were dying by drowning in the water.

We were continuously saying that the DM, SDO, CO and BDO of Ballia are all murderers. On 6 September, we were going to go on a hunger strike and indefinite dharna regarding this. We had applied for this but permission was not given. This has been done in collusion with me. Mohammad Saifi said that you can put me in jail or hang me but I will continue to raise the voice of the people.

What is the matter?

On Saturday, 31 August, Union Minister and local MP Giriraj Singh, who came out after finishing the Janta Darbar in Begusarai Block, was attacked by Ward Councilor Shahjaduzzama alias Saifi. He punched him and also raised slogans of Murdabad. Mohammad Saifi, who attacked Union Minister Giriraj Singh, was granted bail by the court on 3 September and he came out of jail on 4 September.

Saifi got bail from the court of ACJM Akhilesh Kumar. Two days ago, during the Janta Darbar in Begusarai, Mohammad Saifi attacked Giriraj Singh in Ballia Nagar Panchayat. After the attack on Giriraj Singh, the security personnel present on the spot took him out of the crowd after a lot of effort. The same attacker, Ward Councilor Saifi, was caught by the police from the spot and was also questioned.

After this incident, Union Minister Giriraj Singh had said that after the Janta Darbar was over, when he was going towards the car, I was mistreated. Unfortunately, the person who attacked him has a beard. Due to his beard, Rahul-Akhilesh and Tejashwi Yadav have stood by him, but Giriraj Singh is not a person who gets scared of such things. Our voice will be raised in this way against anyone who wants to spoil the communal harmony.

After the attack on him during the Janta Darbar program in Begusarai, Union Minister Giriraj Singh was seen holding a trident in his hand. Giriraj Singh has put his photo with a trident on the social media platform X. It is written that Trishul is our pride and self-respect. When we all protect the trident, we will be protected from the trident as well. It is necessary and our duty to protect religion. In the previous post, he wrote that I am Giriraj and I will always speak and fight for the interests of the society. I am not going to be afraid of these attacks.

He further said that the people who used to pamper and caress him on seeing his beard and cap should see today how land jihad-love jihad and communal tension is being created in the entire country including Begusarai, Bihar. Purnia MP Pappu Yadav had given a big statement regarding the attack on Union Minister and MP Giriraj Singh in Begusarai. Pappu Yadav had said that leaders with a mentality like Giriraj Singh should be strongly opposed but violent resistance is not right.
