For the crop insurance benefit of Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana Kharif-2024, the last date for getting indebted, non-indebted and defaulter farmers insured on notified crops of the area notified by the government has been extended from 16th August to 25th August 2024. Farmers who have been deprived of getting crop insurance can get the benefit of crop insurance by filling their application and submitting the application along with Aadhar card, photocopy of ledger, photocopy of savings bank account and 2 percent of the insured amount fixed for Kharif, hectare premium in the concerned nationalized bank, District Cooperative Bank Ltd. or the nearest Common Service Center.

The crop insurance of farmers is compulsorily done by the concerned bank branch and non-indebted farmers can get their crops insured through bank, MP Online CSC for crop insurance. Documents required for insurance of non-loanee farmers are Aadhar Card (latest), mobile number, bank passbook in which farmer's name, account number, IFSC code is clearly mentioned, Khasra B-1 (latest), Khasra certified sowing certificate of the sown crop, affidavit of lease deed for tenant farmers, which can be done from nearest CSC centre, bank.
