Maihar, A reward of Rs 30,000/- was announced by the Deputy Inspector General of Police. Three accused were arrested, the car and motorcycle used in the incident were recovered. Under the efficient guidance of Mr. Deputy Inspector General of Police Rewa Zone and Superintendent of Police Maihar Sudhir Kumar Aggarwal, guidance from Additional Superintendent of Police Mukesh Vaish and City Superintendent of Police Rajeev Pathak and under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Maihar Inspector Animesh Dwivedi, major action was taken along with our staff - Incident. Details - On 16/12/23, complainant Yashodabai Gupta, husband Daddulal Gupta, aged 61 years, resident of village Bhaisasur police station, Kotwali Maihar, lodged a report in the police station at around 10 pm that four unknown persons came to my house in the name of giving throat to my husband. But they were forced to sit in a car and kidnapped. I had informed this to Pramod Patel. My husband's phone number was switched off and the kidnappers were demanding money.

On the basis of the above report, crime number 1031/2023 under section 364A Tahi was registered in Maihar police station and taken up for investigation. The incident site was inspected by Mr. Deputy Inspector General of Police Rewa Zone and Superintendent of Police Maihar Sudhir Kumar Aggarwal and a reward of Rs 30,000 was announced against the accused. Maihar MLA Honorable Shri Shrikant Chaturvedi ji reached the incident site and met the victim. For the arrest of unknown accused, separate teams were formed and search proceedings were started and nearby people were interrogated regarding unknown kidnappers and vehicles were blocked and intensive checking was done at various places in the entire Maihar district. Station in-charges of all the police stations of the district were sent separately with their teams to see the footage of the CCTV cameras installed at the place and the cameras of the toll plaza. The police team started collecting detailed information regarding the kidnappers and also collected and interrogated information regarding all the white colored cars in the nearby villages and the people who met the kidnapped youth. Due to increasing pressure due to police activity, the accused fled leaving the kidnapped youth in Deviji Road on 17/12/23 at around 06:30 pm. The kidnapped youth was interrogated about the kidnappers, through whom it was told that the kidnappers were 04 persons, by whom they made me sit in a car, blindfolded me, beat me and took me to an unknown place in a closed room with cement roof built in a field. I was kept in a hospital and after drinking alcohol, they beat me up and demanded Rs 1 crore. I did not recognize the youth who had kidnapped them before. According to the appearance of the house described by the street trader, police station incharge Maihar Animesh Dwivedi, under his own leadership, formed different teams and toured about 10-15 nearby villages and continuously cemented them as per the appearance. The work of searching the house where the seat was located was started, along with the help of cyber cell was taken and scratch photos of the accused were prepared as per the appearance given by the kidnapped person and continuous efforts were made to find the person as per the photo. Due to lack of any kind of clue, the police had to face a lot of difficulties.

But due to the hard work of the police, on 22/12/23, as per the house mentioned by the kidnapped businessman, a house was found in the middle of the field outside the village in village Jhurkhulu police station Uchehara, which was taken to the businessman and shown to him, which was said to be this house, police. Immediately an inquiry was made in the village regarding the owner of that house, who told that it was the house of Puranlal Patel. Police immediately laid siege and arrested Puranlal Patel from the village itself and interrogated him closely regarding the incident, by which it was told. That on 16/12/23, Jittu alias Jitendra Patel, a resident of the village, Mukesh alias Mukku Patel, a resident of Ludhauti and Rajneesh alias Manju Patel, had brought Daddu Gupta of Bhainsasur tied in a white color car number MP19CA/6724, which was We had tied them in the Ahri built in our fields and kept them overnight and were demanding money, but due to increasing police pressure in the entire area, when it got dark on 17/12/23, I gave my motorcycle number MP19MR3677 to Daddu Gupta. I blindfolded myself and left near Devi Ji Road canal and came back to my place. By then Jitendra alias Jittu and Mukesh alias Mukku had gone and then I went to my home. The motorcycle used in the incident was recovered from the possession of the accused and immediately tracing the car mentioned by Puran Patel, the car owner Mukesh Patel resident of Bose Colony was arrested from his home and interrogated, through which it was told that on 16.12.2023 In the afternoon, Jitendra alias Jittu called me and invited me to drink liquor. When I reached there, Rajneesh alias Manju and Mukesh Patel were already present there. After drinking liquor, a plan was made that we would go to the bar with Daddu. Gupta resident Bhaisasur has a lot of money, he has to be kidnapped tonight and get a huge amount from him because we are very short of money at this time, then we all go to Bhaisasur Daddu Gupta in our car number MP19CA/6724 at around 7.00 pm. Mukesh parked the car near Daddu Gupta's house and knocked on the door of Daddu Gupta's house. When his wife opened the door, she told that he had just gone to the village and he had not come back. Then we started waiting for him at around 7.30 as Daddu Gupta returned from his village. When I reached near the house, I was sitting in the driving seat of the car and all three people got down and pushed Daddu Gupta in the middle seat and then I drove the car at a high speed and took the car from Sagmaniya side towards Jhurkhulu Puran Lal Patel. They took him to a barn built in the field, tied him inside and started demanding one crore rupees from him. Then at night I and Rajneesh alias Manju Patel went to our home and Mukesh alias Mukku, Jitendra alias Jittu and Puran Lal Patel were under his supervision throughout the night. Car number MP19CA/6724 used in the incident was recovered on the testimony of accused Mukesh. Different teams were sent to possible places for the arrest of accused Mukesh alias Mukku and Jitendra alias Jittu, which on 23.12.2023, accused Mukesh alias Makk has also been arrested. Every possible effort is being made to arrest the other accused Jitendra alias Jittu. Is .
