Saharanpur, Under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra, a meeting of the District Road Safety Committee was organized in the new auditorium located at the Collectorate. Dr. Dinesh Chandra directed to inform the general public about the traffic rules so that any untoward incident can be avoided. Could. District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra directed that black spots should be identified and signs should be installed in the accident prone areas of the district and the work to remove black spots should be expedited. He said that legal action should be taken against those who violate traffic rules. Immediate efforts should be made to solve the problem of encroachment on roads. Instructions were given to install traffic related signals outside schools established on highways and roadsides. Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that the drivers and conductors of the district and all other residents of the district should be linked to the scheme by explaining the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana. Chief Development Officer Sumit Rajesh Mahajan, Additional District Magistrate Administration Dr. Archana Dwivedi, SP Traffic Siddharth Verma, Assistant Divisional Transformation Officer M.P. Singh, XEN PWD Dharmendra Kumar and officials of related departments were present in the meeting.
