Motihari, Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader RCP Singh, who reached Motihari, has expressed concern over the increasing crime in Bihar. Questioning the working style of Bihar Police, he has said that the fear that criminals of Bihar had in 2005 and 2010 is no longer there. Despite the government providing all kinds of resources, the police is proving to be a failure.
RCP Singh said that the way the rule of law was established in Bihar in the year 2005 and 2010, criminals were afraid of the law and the model of speedy trial that was made in Bihar, its effect was seen. Criminals should have fear of the law, if we have committed a crime and there is evidence against us, then we are not going to escape, such a feeling should be in the mind of criminals. He said that in 2005 when Nitish government came to power for the first time, one lakh criminals were punished by speedy trial. In 2005 and 2010, the law in the state was the same as it is now. Since 2005 and 2010, the Bihar government has helped the police more. The police were given better vehicles, better police station buildings, better weapons and better salaries. In such a situation, the police should do even better work.

On the question of Samrat Choudhary taking off his turban, RCP said that politics is a game of possibilities. There was a time when Samrat Choudhary had put forth his point. Time changed and politics changed. There is no permanent enemy in politics. When Samrat Choudhary was speaking to Nitish Kumar, both were separate at that time and now the situation has become such that both are together now.
