Saharanpur. The Guru-disciple relationship is neither a relationship of worldly exchange nor of shelter and dependent. This is a festival of Guru sacrificing himself on the worthiness of the disciple and the disciple dedicating himself to the Guru, the basis of which is faith and trust. The disciple has not been a burden on the Guru but has become his strength. Yoga Guru Swami Bharat Bhushan expressed these feelings while addressing the devotees from local and various parts of the country on the occasion of Vyas Purnima festival organized at Mokshayatan International Yoga Institute today and described Yogiraj Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati as ideal examples of faith and trust and also inspired householders to adopt the path of yoga for a successful life. Mayor Dr Ajay Kumar Singh, who has been associated with Mokshayatan for the last 43 years, said that the sanskars received from Gurudev are the foundation of his journey and being a senior sadhak, administered the oath of initiation to the disciples present. The yoga practitioners of the institute gave an inspiring yoga presentation on Yoga geet under the guidance of Acharya Navneesh, while the students of Nation Builders Academy presented songs and Sanskrit shlokas on the glory of Guru under the guidance of Surabhi Sethi and teacher Yashoda. Padmashree Gurudev Swami Bharat Bhushan blessed all the yoga practitioners by showering flowers on them. Gurudev said that in the worldly world, mother is the first guru and a devotee who turns away from her is not only accepted by Sadguru but even God. At the end, a huge feast was organized.
