New Delhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new building of Parliament on 28 May. This information has been given by the Lok Sabha Secretariat. According to the information, after the completion of the construction work of the new Parliament House, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had urged PM Modi to inaugurate it. PM Modi has given approval for the launch on 28 May. With this, now the Parliament will get its new building.

In the year 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had done Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone of this new Parliament House. It was targeted to be ready by October 2022 at a cost of about Rs 971 crore.
