Saharanpur, A young man, resident of Jagdish Garden Colony, was missing for the last four days. Today his body was found floating in a big canal. The family members created a ruckus alleging murder. Alleged that he was making rounds of the police station and outpost for four days, but the police did not register his disappearance. The police say that after the post mortem report it will be known whether it was murder or an accident. According to the information, Krishna Thakur (22), resident of Jagdish Garden Colony, Paper Mill Road, lived with his mother and sister. On Thursday, February 15, Krishna Thakur had gone from home to the shop. He used to work at a garments shop on Court Road, but after that there was no trace of him. His mobile phone was also switched off. The family reached the police station to lodge a missing complaint. It is alleged that the police did not take the matter seriously. The body of Krishna Thakur was found floating in the big canal on Ambala Road today. Looking at the dead body it seemed that there were injury marks on his body. On coming to know, the family members reached there and created a ruckus, accusing the police of negligence. Priyanka Singh Thakur, sister of the deceased, alleges that she had come to inform the police about Krishna's disappearance. First took the complaint to Sheikhpura post. From there, after telling the matter of Sadar police station, he was asked to leave. After that, when they reached the police station Sadar Bazar, the matter was sent back to Sheikhpura police post of Dehat Kotwali. Whereas two days ago, his scooter was also found in abandoned condition near Nakur intersection. Had the police taken the case seriously, Krishna might have been alive.
