During this, Collector Mr. Kochar wished all the applicants who came for the public hearing on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti. He said that applicants come from far and wide for the public hearing, today is the atmosphere of festival and celebration, so it was our wish that everyone should go with something sweet, that is why sesame laddus were distributed here with best wishes to everyone. On this occasion, Collector Mr. Kochar provided pencils, books etc. to Rabina Ahirwal.
Collector Sudhir Kumar Kochar said that this time the theme of the public hearing was arms license and people apply for arms license in two-three ways. First, if someone wants to get a new license, then there is an application for that, second, an application is made for renewal of the old license, third, if that license is in the name of their parents or any other family member, then on their death or during their lifetime, if they give consent, then an application is given to transfer it to their name. Along with this, for purchasing or selling arms or for cancelling the license, these are some categories in which people apply. Today, Collector Sudhir Kochar had kept that category, on the very first day, 55 applications have come to us, instructions have been given to resolve all these on the spot, the applicants have been told about the deficiencies in which there are these imperfections in this application, it has to be completed. In the applications which had no deficiencies, the Additional Collector has been directed to complete the action in it and get it approved. Within this week, all the eligible applicants should be issued licenses or renewed.
He said that a large number of renewal applications are pending, some people came to me, they said that their renewal application is pending, in this regard, a discussion has been held with the Superintendent of Police, as soon as the report of SP sahab comes, about 200 cases will be resolved together. So that all the renewal cases are resolved and in the same way, we will continue to work with different themes in the future, so that maximum relief can be provided to the people. Collector Sudhir Kochar said that a very young girl from Kanti village had come with her maternal grandfather during the public hearing. She was in the third or fourth grade and her parents got divorced and after that both of them got married again, now this girl is left alone. She has no siblings and she lives with her maternal grandparents. The girl came with the problem that her Apaar ID has to be made in the school but that ID can be made only when her father's Aadhaar card, ID is available but her father has refused to give it. This is what the girl said.
In this regard, the collector said that the team of school education and e-governance is checking all the documents. Instructions have been given to resolve this girl's case, so that the girl's Apaar ID can be made. Because this girl is alone, she lives with her maternal grandparents. That is why instructions have been given to provide her the benefit of the sponsorship scheme of the Women and Child Development Department, so that she will start getting assistance of about 4 thousand rupees per month and apart from this, it has also been instructed to check whether her name is in the Ladli Laxmi scheme or not, if she is eligible then she will also start getting the benefit of Ladli Laxmi.
