Politics over the flood in Bihar has intensified. Now Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav reminded CM Nitish Kumar of the Kushaha tragedy. Not only this, Tejashwi even asked that Nitish ji, why are you hesitant to meet PM Modi? Why don't you talk to the PM to help the flood victims. Tejashwi Yadav wrote on social media on Wednesday morning that remember the flood in Bihar in 2008. Then there was a UPA government at the center. After the Congress, on the request of RJD, the second largest and most powerful party at the center, and its leader Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Prime Minister Sardar Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi ji came to Bihar to survey the flood-affected areas. Presenting an unimaginable and unforgettable example of positive politics, Lalu ji made the Prime Minister aware of the terrible situation of the flood and got it declared a national disaster and in that era, i.e. 15 years ago, immediately got a special assistance amount of thousand crores from the Center for Bihar. One lakh ton grain was demanded

Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav said that NDA's Nitish government had demanded one lakh ton grain from the UPA government at the center, but the UPA government at the center gave one lakh 25 thousand tons grain to Bihar for the help and relief of the affected people. It gave more to Bihar than what the Nitish government had asked for. Nitish government saved that grain and before the 2010 elections, distributed the grain given by the UPA government among the poor people by saying that the Nitish government is giving this grain. They took advantage of this in the elections. The NDA governments at the center and Bihar measure the value of the lives and property of the people of North Bihar in just a few kilos of grain. The government will also have to explain the reason why embankments and dams break repeatedly?

Aid of 90 crores was also arranged from the Railway Ministry

The former Deputy Chief Minister praised his father and said that at the time of the Kusha tragedy, the then Railway Minister Lalu Yadav ran free trains for the flood victims and also arranged a relief of 90 crores from the Railway Ministry. He distributed one lakh sarees and dhotis. Flood relief camps were set up in train coaches on railway platforms in Kosi region. Lalu ji donated his one month's salary, one crore rupees he won in KBC, one day's salary of all the employees of the Railway Ministry, IRCTC, Railway East Zone, West Zone etc. to Bihar.

44 thousand crore financial package was arranged

The Leader of Opposition said that seeing the shortage of drinking water in flood affected areas, Lalu ji sent 25 railway tankers of 20 thousand liters capacity there and one lakh bottles of Railneer water were immediately sent to Bihar on behalf of the Railways. In that period, all the help was provided by the UPA government due to the efforts of Lalu ji, but Nitish Kumar promoted it in his name. From 2004 to 2009, Lalu ji got Bihar a financial package of one lakh 44 thousand crores, but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made Bihar shine with it.

There were 29 MPs whereas now NDA has 30 MPs
The Leader of Opposition said that at that time UPA had 29 MPs from Bihar whereas now NDA has 30 MPs. The 30 MPs of NDA, Bihar Chief Minister and seven NDA Union Ministers from Bihar at the Center are so helpless, powerless and powerless that they can neither get the devastating floods of Bihar declared as a disaster nor can they ask for special assistance from the Central Government which is running on their support. None of the Union Ministers of BJP and the Prime Minister can see Bihar? Why does Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar not meet Prime Minister Modi to get the floods of Bihar declared as a national disaster and to demand assistance when lakhs of people and more than half of the districts of Bihar are affected by the floods? Why is Nitish Kumar hesitant to meet the Prime Minister? Now after this post of Tejashwi Yadav, politics has intensified.
