Anuppur, on 14.10.2024, complainant Hetram Singh Gond, father Sundar Singh Gond, age 40 years, resident of village Ledra, police station Kotma, informed that his son Arjun Singh Gond, age 16 years, had gone to the pond for morning walk in the early morning, whose dead body was found in the bushes of Barmasiya at around 8:00 in the evening. An unknown person had kept naked GI wire with 11000 volt current to kill wild animals, in which Arjun Singh died due to electric shock. On the information, a case number 70/24 section 194 BNSS was registered and investigation was taken up. On receiving the complaint, the daughter of Amrit Lal Yadav of the village also went for morning walk, who is also admitted in the hospital in an injured condition due to electric shock. During the investigation of the case and complaint, it was found that an unknown person had kept naked GI wire with 11000 volt current to kill wild animals. Current was spread by installing a wire which was installed by the unknown accused knowing that anyone could die due to coming in contact with the current of the said wire. Arjun Singh died due to the said current and Amritlal's daughter was found injured, on which a crime was registered against an unknown person under crime number 428/24 section 105, 125 BNS and investigation was taken up. During the investigation, keeping in view the seriousness of the crime, the suspects from the villages around the incident spot were immediately interrogated continuously, in which 01. Mansingh father Bhukhan Singh age 40 years, 02. On the admission of the crime by Kripal Singh father Bhanwar Singh age 30 years both residents of Ledra and 03. Ram Ji Singh father Daduwal Singh age 45 years, 04. Shri Singh alias Ashwani Singh father Baldhari Singh age 35 years both residents of Jamuniha police station Kotma, the naked GI wire used in the incident and the wooden stick used for spreading the wire were seized from the above accused and the accused were arrested and presented in the honorable court. In the above action, police station in-charge Kotma inspector Sundresh Singh, assistant sub-inspector Brijesh Pandey, Chandrahas Bandhekar, head constable Rampal Patel Ramkhelavan Yadav, constable Narendra, Abhay Tripathi, driver constable Dinesh Kirade, Jitendra Mandloi, cyber cell head constable Rajendra Hirwar, constable Pankaj Mishra played an important role.
