Australia wins third ODI, series goes to India
New Delhi, The Indian cricket team has faced defeat in the last match of the three-match ODI series against Australia. By winning two consecutive matches, Team India had already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Batting first in the third match, they scored a huge score of 352 runs for 7 wickets. While chasing the target, the Indian team was all out for 286 runs.
Australia won the battle of honor by winning the last match of the three-match ODI series against India. Batting first, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh made a good start for the Australian team. Both of them scored their respective fifty increasing the score rapidly. Warner became the victim of Prasidh Krishna after scoring 56 runs. Marsh's attack continued at the other end and Steve Smith came and provided him full support. Marsh was dismissed by Kuldeep Yadav on the score of 96 runs while Steve Smith lost his wicket on 74 runs. Team India did not get any respite here either and Marnus Labuschagne scored 72 runs taking the score to 352 runs.
India's batting faltered
While chasing the huge target from Australia, Rohit Sharma made a tremendous start with his new partner Washington Sundar. Sundar, who was playing the responsibility of opening for the first time, returned after getting out on 18 runs. Virat Kohli stepped on the field and took the score forward along with captain Rohit Sharma. Glenn Maxwell sent back hit man Rohit, who was seen in a stormy style, with a wonderful catch on his ball. The captain returned after scoring 81 runs on 57 balls.
After this, Virat Kohli became the victim of Maxwell for 56 runs and then the batting completely faltered. The score was 171 runs for the loss of 2 wickets, here India lost the third wicket and the entire team was all out after scoring 286 runs. Shreyas Iyer was out after scoring 48 runs while KL Rahul scored 26 runs. Suryakumar Yadav had another good chance but was out on 8 runs.
