Street drama to make voters aware in Damoh
Awareness campaigns and rallies are being taken out

Damoh, With the aim of increasing the voting percentage in Damoh district, various activities are being organized daily under the sweep campaign as per the instructions given by the Collector and District Election Officer. Participation of every section of the society is being ensured in this campaign, for this, the social service organization Abhishek Jan Jagriti Samaj Kalyan Samiti and Bundelkhand Nav Nirman and Yuva Jan Jagriti Samiti are conducting panchayat wise voters' polls in the colonies, settlements, mohallas and rural areas of the city. Many efforts are being made to create awareness like street plays and awareness campaigns.
Under the guidance of District Panchayat CEO Arpit Verma, sweep activities are being carried out continuously in the city and rural areas. Special attention is being given to those areas where there was less turnout in the last elections. Cooperation of all sections of the society is being taken in the voter awareness campaign.
Focus on low percentage centers
Under the sweep campaign, voter awareness rallies are being organized in wards and gram panchayats of urban areas. Voter awareness campaign is also being run at major religious places of the city. Awareness campaigns are being run through street plays at public places and voters are being administered oath to vote. Voter awareness posters are being made through students.
Voters are being motivated to vote in the district through rallies, seminars, rangoli competitions, voter awareness selfie boards etc. Special awareness efforts are being made by identifying those polling stations in rural and urban areas of Damoh district where there was less voting in the last assembly elections 2018 and less than 50 percent voting in the by-elections of Damoh. Special efforts are also being made in schools and colleges. New voters are being motivated to vote.
