People have got relief from the heat due to the rains on Thursday and Friday.

Storm alert in 22 states of the country

Storm and rain alert has been issued on Saturday in 22 states of the country including Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Madhya Pradesh. Heavy rains are expected today in many states including the north-eastern states of the country, especially Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal. During this time, hailstorm is also expected.

Chances of light drizzle in Delhi
The temperature in Delhi has come down significantly. Earlier the temperature was reaching 42 degrees Celsius. Now, due to rain, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be up to 32 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be up to 19 degrees Celsius. On Saturday too, the sky of Delhi will remain cloudy. There are chances of light drizzle.

Chances of hailstorm in eastern UP
There are chances of light to moderate rain and strong winds with thunder in many districts of UP today. There is also a possibility of hailstorm at some places in eastern UP. The temperature in cities like Lucknow, Barabanki, Gorakhpur may remain below 30 degrees Celsius.

Chances of rain with strong winds in Haryana
Sporadic rain and strong winds are expected in Haryana during this period. The weather may change in areas like Gurugram, Sonipat, but the effect of heat will remain. The maximum temperature is likely to remain between 35-38 degrees Celsius.

Thunderstorms likely in many districts of Bihar
Hailstorms are possible in some districts of Bihar along with light rain. Areas like Begusarai, Darbhanga, Madhubani have recently suffered damage due to thunderstorms and lightning. The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert with strong winds (40-50 km/h) today as well. Meanwhile, the temperature may remain between 32-35 degrees Celsius.

Clouds will remain in many districts of MP, light rain likely
Light rain and clouds are likely in the eastern and southern parts of Madhya Pradesh. The weather may be pleasant in areas like Gwalior, Jabalpur, Rewa. The maximum temperature is expected to be between 36-40 degrees Celsius and the minimum between 20-24 degrees Celsius.
