Senior SP Shailesh Kumar Sinha has suspended Roshan Kumar, posted as Havildar cum Driver in Nagar police station, for demanding ten thousand rupees to release the seized Scorpio during the vehicle checking campaign. At the same time, a clarification has been issued to Inspector cum City Police Station Head Kamlesh Kumar and a reply has been sought.

Along with this, Police Station Head Kamlesh Kumar has been removed from the post of City Police Station Head and has been sent on line duty. The SSP has also posted Shivhar Circle Inspector Randhir Kumar Singh on the post of City Police Station Head with immediate effect. There is a stir in the police department due to this quick action of the SP.

Scorpio seized in vehicle checking campaign

Let us tell you that on Thursday night, the police of the city police station was conducting a vehicle checking campaign in Shivhar city. Meanwhile, Upendra Prasad Yadav, a resident of Hathiol of Pakridyal police station of East Champaran district, was passing by in a Scorpio. The police team seized his Scorpio and took it to the city police station.

Demanded 10 thousand rupees to release Scorpio

Havaldar Roshan Kumar demanded ten thousand rupees from Yadav to release the seized Scorpio. The game to release the vehicle went on throughout the night. The havaldar also threatened the vehicle owner.

As soon as it was morning, the vehicle owner met SSP Shailesh Kumar Sinha and informed him about the whole matter. The SSP handed over the responsibility of investigation to the DSP headquarters.

Havaldar found guilty in the investigation
The DSP headquarters investigated the matter, in which the havaldar was found guilty. On the basis of the investigation report of the DSP headquarters, the SSP first suspended the havaldar.

At the same time, an explanation was sought from the city police station in-charge regarding the entire incident. The SSP held the city police station in-charge responsible for the incident and removed him from his post and sent him to the line.

The SSP has posted Circle Inspector Randhir Kumar Singh of Shivhar as the city police station in-charge. Let us tell you that Kamlesh Kumar was made the city police station in-charge on 21 February itself. He joined the post of city police station in-charge on 24 February. Within ten days he was removed from this post.
