Mumbai, Tom Holland-starrer Hollywood film 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' continues to perform strongly at the Indian box office. Two weeks after its release, the film continues to earn crores. Earns ₹4.38 crore on the 14th day

According to SacNilc, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' earned ₹4.38 crore on Wednesday, its 14th day of release. The film had grossed ₹8.50 crore on Tuesday. Collections declined on Wednesday compared to Tuesday, but despite this, the film's earnings remain in the crores.

The film has so far grossed ₹435.93 crore in India. Given its consistent box office performance, the film has established a strong position among Hollywood films.

Surpasses 'Avatar 2' Record

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' recently surpassed 'Avatar 2' in terms of earnings in India. 'Avatar 2' had a lifetime collection of ₹391.40 crore at the Indian box office, while 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' has surpassed this figure.

Notably, the film has become the first Hollywood film to join the ₹400 crore club in India. Tom Holland plays Spider-Man in the film. It is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton.

'The Odyssey' Slows Down

Meanwhile, the box office performance of Christopher Nolan's Hollywood film 'The Odyssey' has slowed considerably. On the 26th day of its release, the film collected approximately ₹10 lakh in India across all languages. With this, the film's total Indian earnings have reached ₹172.35 crore.

"The Odyssey" stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway in lead roles.

Indian films also didn't pose a significant challenge.

"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" faced competition from some Indian films at the box office, but currently, none have come close to its collections.

"Oh My God 2," starring Pankaj Tripathi and directed by Amit Rai, grossed ₹1.3 million on its sixth day of release. Meanwhile, Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vamika Gabbi's Tamil film "DC: The Bloody Valentine" earned approximately ₹3 crore on its sixth day.

These figures clearly indicate that "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" remains strong at the Indian box office despite completing two weeks.
