Saharanpur, District Magistrate Manish Bansal held a meeting with electricity officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply and increase revenue by recovering electricity bills. He said that the electricity officials should speed up the recovery work from all the defaulters of more than 01 lakh in the district. Action should be taken as per rules against those who do not deposit the dues. He gave instructions to minimize line losses. District Magistrate Manish Bansal, while obtaining information regarding feeders with high line losses, directed to take appropriate action for this and bring about improvement.

DM Manish Bansal directed all the electricity officials to take immediate cognizance of the electricity related problem and resolve it with responsibility so that the consumer can get rid of the problem as soon as possible. The concerned sub-district magistrates were directed to conduct surprise inspection for verification of the complaint register maintained at the power houses. He said that it is the important responsibility of the department to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the general public. Therefore, work with promptness and diligence so that the general public does not have to face problems regarding power availability. The concerned officers including the Superintending Engineer and Executive Engineer were present in the meeting.
