Saharanpur, As per the instructions of District Magistrate Manish Bansal, under Swachhata Hi Seva Pakhwada 2024, a special cleanliness drive was conducted at Sangam Ghat of Gram Panchayat Kuan Kheda, Block Nanauta in joint coordination of District Ganga Samiti and Swachh Bharat Mission Gramin, which is running Namami Gange program. In the cleanliness drive, hundreds of students of Government Girls Inter College Kuan Kheda, Government Inter College Bhavsi and Green Field Academy Nanauta organized a collective Shramdaan program at Sangam Ghat. District Sanitation Advisor Dev Bhaskar Pandey gave detailed information about cleanliness to the students and communicated on the objective of Swachhata Seva Pakhwada. He organized collective Shramdaan by administering Ganga and cleanliness oath to the students. Principals of Government Girls Inter College Kuan Kheda, Raj Ki Inter College Bhavsi and Green Field Academy Kumud Pundir, Fahim Ahmed etc. played an important role in making the program successful. Along with this, all the students of primary, upper primary and intermediate colleges of the district took the oath of cleanliness under the Swachhata Hi Seva fortnight. On this occasion, the officers nominated in-charge of each school motivated the students on the importance of cleanliness. Chief Medical Officer Dr Praveen Kumar, District School Inspector Harshdev Swami, District Basic Education Officer Komal provided special support in the health check-up camp, cleanliness oath and other activities organized on the occasion of the fortnight.
