High court rejected the FIR canceled application
Sambhal, Samajwadi Party MP Ziaurrahman Burke has received a major setback from the Allahabad High Court. The court has rejected the application to cancel the FIR of MP Burke from Sambhal. The court has said that the FIR will not be canceled and the police investigation will continue. However, the High Court also ordered that Burke would not be arrested at the moment, they will have to cooperate in the police investigation. Explain that the Uttar Pradesh Police had registered a case against MP Ziaur Rehman Burke for electricity theft at his residence in Deepa Sarai area.
A case was also registered against MP's father
Police had said that the MP's father Mamalukur Rahman Burke has also been booked by the Electricity Department for threatening government officials during the inspection of the house. A case was registered against the MP under Section 135 (unauthorized use of electricity or unauthorized use of electricity) of the Electricity Act, 2003. Malukur Rahman Burke was accused of using abusive language, obstructed government work and said that the government would change and we will ruin you. According to FIR, Mamalukur Rahman Burke used abusive words, and its video has been made by the Electricity Department.
