In Saharsa, a woman lawyer and her mother have been accused of being beaten up by a woman inspector. The victim says that the accused woman inspector is currently Sub Inspector Neelu Kumari posted in Supaul district. She was earlier posted in Saharsa District Force. The victim Ekta Jha, working as an advocate in the Civil Court, and her mother are being treated at Sadar Hospital. Ekta Jha (35) is originally from Lahuar of Mahisi police station area, but currently she lives with her mother Bhagwati Jha (60) on rent in Uday Kumar Jha's house in Batraha Ward 36 of Municipal Corporation area.

Clash between lawyer and sub-inspector in court

Injured advocate Ekta Jha said that she is a lawyer by profession in Saharsa Civil Court. Last Tuesday, she had gone to GR Court in connection with a case in the court. There, she had an altercation with a woman police personnel present in civil dress. During this, the matter reached to a scuffle. The woman advocate alleged that during this time Sub Inspector Neelu Kumari threatened her and said that you will know in four days. Ekta Jha said that she was in civil dress, so she could not recognize her. Later it was found out that she was a sub-inspector. Advocate Ekta Jha also said that Sub Inspector Neelu Kumari threatened her and said that you will know in four days who we are. Along with the threat, she also said that she had thrown a pistol and uniform on the face of the then SP Lipi Singh. Then during the departmental action, she has also returned from the High Court. Anyway, I do not give any value to small lawyers. Injured advocate Ekta Jha said that the goons of Sub Inspector Neelu Kumari entered the house and beat me badly. She alleged that my mother, who came to intervene, was also thrown down from the three-storey building. I have been admitted to a private nursing home in the city for treatment by the local people. However, the doctors have denied this.

Police engaged in investigation

In this regard, Sadar SDPO Alok Kumar said that the female advocate has been beaten up. It is being said that she had a dispute with a sub-inspector three to four days ago. The matter is being investigated. She is accusing the sub-inspector of conspiracy. The case has been registered and further action is being taken.
