SP Gurkaran Singh Takes to the Streets of Rewa Late at Night
Personally Takes Command of Security Arrangements
Rewa: In a first for the Vindhya region, Superintendent of Police (SP) Gurkaran Singh personally took to the streets late at night to further strengthen law and order in Rewa. Accompanied by his officers, he conducted a foot patrol through major markets and sensitive areas—including the city's College Crossing, Shilpi Plaza, and Sirmour Crossing—to take stock of the security situation.
The SP's sudden presence during the late hours heightened vigilance within the police department while simultaneously bolstering the public's confidence in their safety.
During the night patrol, SP Gurkaran Singh issued directives to Station House Officers (SHOs) and police personnel to maintain continuous patrolling, keep a close watch on suspicious activities, and take strict action against anti-social elements. Additional SP Aarti Singh, CSP Ritu Upadhyay, Chorhata SHO Pawan Shukla, Civil Lines SHO Vijay Singh, and Amahiya SHO SHO Shiva Agarwal were also present during this operation. By conducting a foot march through busy markets and main thoroughfares, the police officials sent a clear message: the Rewa Police remain vigilant at all times, and there is no longer any place for criminals within the city.
