People of Bihar will have to wait for monsoon for some more time. According to IMD's report, monsoon was supposed to arrive in Bihar between 15 and 16 June but now it is 4 days late. There is a possibility that monsoon will enter Bihar by 20 June. At present, monsoon is stuck in Islampur, West Bengal.

According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is likely to arrive in Bihar by 20 June. It will enter the state from the north-east region. Its effect will be visible from 19 June itself. The Meteorological Department has predicted cloudy skies and light rain. From 20 June, heavy rain will occur in most parts of the state with thunder, hail and strong winds.
