Dhar, There have been many complaints of irregularities in MNREGA in the district. These complaints have reached from Dhar to Bhopal and Delhi. But after this, the senior officers have neither fear nor responsibility to work under the rules. This is the reason why the Mahatma Gandhi Employment Guarantee Act i.e. MNREGA scheme, which proved to be a boon during the lockdown at the time of Corona epidemic in the tribal-dominated district, seems to be getting sabotaged. Now the situation is such that people are forced to migrate in the villages for employment and taking advantage of this, the officers are seen doing whatever they want.

There is a ban on the use of machines in the work done under the MNREGA scheme. But in the district the work is being done by machines only. The musters of the job card holders are being filled, but the officers working with the machines are busy in running the JCB on the rights of the labourers. Not a single laborer is visible on the construction works in the name of labourers. At the same time, even after working with machines, the parameters of construction are being ignored. In such a situation, in the work done for the convenience of the villagers, only and only the officials are seen getting auspicious benefits.

This is the matter: In fact, the remote road from village Khakedi to Sagwal of Sardarpur development block of the district is being constructed to improve the traffic. 45 lakh rupees have to be spent on this. It is being constructed by Rural Engineering Services Department Sardarpur. The most important thing is that assistance has been taken from the villagers in the form of public participation. In spite of this, in the name of quality, the officers are seen throwing mud at work. If experts are to be believed, the most important muram is used for long distance road construction. Murum's base is prepared and ballast is laid on it so that the road does not sit in the rain. But a unique piece of engineering has been seen here. Here, using JCB machines, the base is being prepared from black soil. Black soil swells after being watered and then shrinks when exposed to sunlight. In such a situation, there will be a possibility of potholes on the road again. Despite this, instead of Murom, black soil has been dumped from the dumpers. At the same time, instead of laborers, work is being done with JCB machines. In such a situation, even after spending lakhs of rupees, the villagers will not be able to get a good road.

Cover-up even after spending lakhs of rupees: After the pictures of this road being constructed between Khakedi to Sagwal came to the fore, it is certain that even after spending lakhs of rupees, the officials are continuing to cover-up at the field level. In this matter, when the concerned engineer of the department S Kanesh was questioned in this matter, he refused to talk by making an excuse of illness. Now the question is with the senior and responsible officers of the district, on whom the schemes of governance in the rural areas have to be implemented to provide benefits to the villagers.

They say: The information about the use of machines in the construction of village and remote roads has been brought to my notice. It will be shown. As far as the soil is concerned, it will also be investigated.
