Saharanpur, In accordance with the instructions given by the government, social audit will actually be conducted in Gram Panchayats during a one-month certification course on social audit accountability and social audit for block resource persons.
District Magistrate Dr. Dinesh Chandra said that 07 gram panchayats of development block Nanauta, Sadhauli Dulichandpur, Sijud, Simlana, Thaska, Tikrol, Tilfra Ainabad and Umri Majbata, will be selected for MNREGA and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Rural in the financial year 2023-24 from April to September 2023. The date has been fixed from 01 March 2024 to 09 March 2024 for conducting social audit of the works done under this. Dr. Dinesh Chandra told that in the open meeting of the Gram Panchayat on the appointed date, the supervisory officer has been nominated to supervise the social audit work and it has been ordered to be present in the concerned Gram Panchayat on the appointed date and time and called for social audit. Will ensure smooth conduct of the open meeting under his supervision. The presence of village head, village development officer, village panchayat officer, technical assistant, village employment servant and concerned officers and employees of executive departments should be ensured in the open meeting called for social audit.
