Shivpuri, As soon as Shivpuri Superintendent of Police Raghuvansh Singh Bhadauria received instructions to take strict action against those possessing illegal weapons and illegal liquor to maintain peace and order in the district in view of the upcoming assembly elections, the Kotwali police received information from an informer that a person was in Matka Park. On information, Kotwali police station in-charge Vinay Yadav along with the police team raided Matka Park, the accused tried to run away as soon as he saw the police, who was caught by the police team and searched. Four 315 bore pistols, one country-made pistol and 15 live rounds were recovered from his possession and action was taken against the accused under the Arms Act and he was arrested, while the accused is being interrogated in relation to the kingpin of illegal weapons.
