Shivpuri, Pradhan Mantri Janjati Adivasi Nyay Mahabhiyan (PM Janman) program was started on 15 November 'Tribal Pride Day' under which the benefit of all the schemes of the Central Government was to be given to bring the most backward tribes of the country into the mainstream of development. In this sequence, on 15 January, Prime Minister Modi approved more than 1 lakh houses simultaneously and provided the first installment! In Shivpuri district, the duo of Collector Ravindra Chaudhary and CEO District Panchayat Umrao Singh Maravi made a micro plan and focused on the problems of each panchayat such as providing land, availability of artisan labourers, ensuring availability of materials like sand, cement, bricks at easy and cheap rates, availability of shuttering etc., due to which Shivpuri district built the country's first PM Janman Awas in just 29 days, Bhagchandra Adivasi of Kalothra Panchayat, and brought glory to not only Shivpuri but the state in the country!

In this sequence, Shivpuri district first constructed 100 houses, 500 houses, which is an achievement in itself, but now by completing 1 thousand houses for the first time in all the states, all the districts, all the blocks of the country, it has proved that due to better teamwork, micro planning, visit of each panchayat by CEO District Panchayat as well as CEO District, Shivpuri district has presented a sample of excellence!

Due to all the above actions, Shivpuri district has set an example for other districts by flying the flag in the country in building quality houses on time. Recently, the model residential colonies of Saharia tribals being constructed in Chandanpura, Hatod, Kota, Dabiya in Shivpuri district became a topic of discussion in the whole country, due to which Vaibhav Goyal, Director, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, issued a letter to all the collectors of the country and directed them to follow the model colony of Shivpuri district and also suggested through the letter to other collectors to take necessary guidance from Collector Shivpuri if needed.
