Saharanpur | Deoband, while addressing the devotees on the fourth day of Shiv Katha, Sadhvi Ms. Brahma Nishtha Bharti, disciple of the most revered Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj, said that Shiv Shringar is inspiring us for self-resurrection. The garland of human heads around Lord Bholenath's neck indicates that this human body is mortal. One day it will be destroyed. But before life is destroyed, before the funeral procession is lifted, understanding the meaning of life is the real purpose of human birth. The goal of life is to make life meaningful by attaining Shiva and moving life away from the mortality of this world and orienting it towards the Shiva element. Further, the Sadhvi said that the scattered dreadlocks of Lord Bholenath are a symbol of our scattered mind. Just as Lord Shiva gathers his scattered matted locks and ties them in a knot and gets involved in meditation, similarly if we too gather our scattered minds and thoughts and concentrate them on the feet of the Lord, surrender them, then we too will be able to turn towards the knowledge of the Lord and attain real peace and happiness. The scattered thoughts of the human mind keep it entangled in the illusions of the world. When a man, like Lord Shiva, concentrates himself on that supreme element, that Brahma element, then his life becomes free from all problems. That is, meditation on the feet of the Lord is the means of freedom from all worries and this process of knowledge is not just about sitting with two eyes closed. For that, it is necessary to know your goal first. Religious texts also explain that God is not just a subject of belief, but God is known. He is seen. He is interviewed. The chief guest of today's Katha was Raju Saini, President, Vishal Saini Committee, Deoband and Seth Kuldeep, senior social worker.
